Boon Siew Honda kicks off 2019 with the introduction of new colour schemes for the Wave Alpha kapchai and BeAT scooter.

First launched in 2015, the Wave Alpha is offered in spoke wheel & cast wheel versions. Priced at RM4,275, the former is now available in red, black và blue, while the latter, which costs RM4,516, can be had in red, blue or yellow.

Certified as an Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV), the Wave Alpha is powered by a 110 cc, single-cylinder engine with an output of 8.3 hp at 7,500 rpm and 8.6 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. A four-speed gearbox channels the power lớn the rear wheel.

On the other hand, the BeAT now comes with four colour options, namely red, magenta, black và blue. It retains the 108.2 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine which produces 8.7 hp at 7,500 rpm và 9.21 N.m at 6,000 rpm.

For RM5,365, the scooter also comes with a side stand switch that cuts off the engine upon the deployment of the side stand, Combi Brake System which minimizes skidding as well as Smart Lock System that keeps the brakes locked for safe starting or parking.
